THE RELUCTANT WRITER

Hi! I'm Carolyn! I taught for 30 years as a 6th grade English teacher. One of my favorite aspects of teaching was working with a student 1-on-1 to strengthen their writing. In 2005, when I discovered there was a need for college application essay assistance, I began to help my friends and colleagues' high school seniors, and they started getting accepted to their dream schools! In 2018, THE RELUCTANT WRITER was born! I am honored to say I have helped 1000's of students from all over the country write essays that make them stand out. What I bring to the table is not only years of experience with students from all backgrounds, but a positivity and sense of humor that makes students feel comfortable and willing to share their ideas openly with me as we craft a story that highlights their unique qualities, talents, and passions. I am excited to work with your child and make the process something they will actually look forward to instead of dreading it!
